Beginners Yoga Classes

Our beginner classes are your first step on your yoga journey to a healthier and more balanced You. With our Beginner Courses offered each term, we want to encourage regular weekly attendance to give you the best chance to lay solid foundations in Iyengar yoga and discover the benefits to your overall well-being.

Secure your spot in our Beginners Yoga Course and feel more balanced and energised to tackle your daily activities.

With the INTRO OFFER, you can attend up to
6 weekly classes at no extra cost.

This means you have access to all beginner classes as part of our Beginners Course at our studio for the same price.

Our Beginners Course is suitable for absolute newcomers to yoga, those who are returning to yoga after a break or are coming from a different yoga style. No experience is required. All ages and all body types are welcome.

Our NEXT COURSE for Term 1 2025 commences from the week
starting Monday 3rd February 2025. Delayed entries are possible.

The 10-week beginner's program gives you the best introduction to Iyengar Yoga, learning the essential yoga foundations progressively week by week. Allow yourself to experience the many benefits, possibilities, and challenges of practising yoga.

Our Beginners Class Times:
Monday 5.30 pm
Tuesday 7.30 pm
Wednesday 5.30 pm
Thursday 12.00 pm (Gentle Beginners)
Friday 10.00 am
Saturday 11.00 am

In our progressing beginner's program, you are safely guided and supported by a fully qualified, Iyengar-certified and experienced yoga teacher.

By attending our Beginners Course, you will gain more and more confidence as the basic poses and concepts are introduced week by week. By the end of this course, most students feel ready to start the next level of classes (Progressing Level 1).

Gentle Beginner Classes

A gentler and slower-paced introduction to yoga. Gentle classes are suitable for more mature people, seniors, and those working with injuries or medical issues.

Progressing (Level 1) Yoga Classes

For those who have completed the 10-week Beginners Course, or those with prior Iyengar yoga experience.
